Combining the talents of four young professional musicians the Akina String Quartet provides captivating musical entertainment for weddings, corporate events and other special occasions across Berkshire and the South East. Areas covered by the ensemble include, (but are not restricted to) Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. Having a diverse musical repertoire to draw from that spans almost 500 years of eclectic musical history from Motets composed during the Elizabethan Era to present day hits by groups such as Queens of the Stone Age arranged for string quartet means that the group’s musical performances can be tailored to any event, and any musical taste. The girls all have many years experience of playing for live events meaning they are experienced hands at arranging pieces of music by request if required.
